Vivel is a family-owned patisserie and confectionery producer based in Dubai. The brand was founded by Shahnaz Bagherzadeh, who grew up on her grandmother’s farm in northwestern Iran, where she was introduced to traditional sweet-making. After moving to Dubai in 1987, she began teaching pastry classes for women and preparing pastries in her home kitchen. Her products were later supplied to restaurants and hotels in Dubai, laying the foundations for the development of Vivel Patisserie. Her son Ehsan joined the business in 2000, and the company continued to expand as a family enterprise. The core range consists of handcrafted petit fours based on Persian and Middle Eastern recipes. Ingredients used in their preparation include pistachios, almonds, walnuts, dates, dried fruits, chocolate, spices, and floral flavorings. The wider assortment also includes Turkish delight, stuffed dates, nougat, biscuits, chocolate truffles, chocolate bars, and confections made with pistachios and kunafa.
