Zeisner Tomaten-Ketchup is a classic German ketchup made according to the original recipe from 1937, developed by Georg Zeisner. It is considered the first German ketchup and has retained its authentic character and rich flavor to this day.
It is made from carefully selected, fully ripe tomatoes, which give it a distinctly fruity note. The recipe also includes apple purée, vinegar, sugar, natural spices, and mild plant-based thickeners.
It contains no preservatives, artificial colors, gluten, lactose, or flavor enhancers. The ketchup is suitable for both vegans and vegetarians.
Zeisner uses a proprietary spice blend that has remained unchanged for decades and is kept in their special "spice room." Thanks to its well-balanced flavor, it pairs perfectly with French fries, sausages, sandwiches, and pasta.
