Zena Crown Slope Pinot Noir is one of the estate’s flagship wines from the Eola-Amity Hills AVA, offering a deeper and more intense interpretation of Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. The fruit comes from exposed hillside blocks where strong winds and distinctive soils shape grapes with greater concentration and natural structure.

Aromatically, the wine leans toward darker red and black fruit notes such as blueberry, cranberry, and huckleberry, layered with subtle hints of lavender, wet stone, and earthy undertones that add complexity. On the palate, it is full and layered, with vibrant acidity that brings energy and precision, balanced by fine, well-defined tannins that give the wine a confident yet polished framework.

Oak is used with restraint, supporting texture and aromatic depth without overshadowing the fruit. The overall style is serious and age-worthy, designed to evolve in the bottle and gain additional nuances of spice, dried herbs, and mineral tones over time.

Slope Pinot Noir pairs naturally with richer dishes such as roasted game, beef with savory sauces, and mushroom-based plates. It is widely regarded as a strong expression of the Eola-Amity Hills terroir - complex, structured, and clearly shaped by its place of origin.
