207 Amaro Locale is a contemporary Italian amaro with 23% ABV that combines the traditional bitterness of classic herbal liqueurs with vibrant Mediterranean aromas. Its recipe is built around four distinctive ingredients: Zafferano dell’Aquila DOP saffron, mint from Pancalieri, sweet orange peel from Calabria, and lemon peel from Sicily.

These ingredients complement a botanical base of gentian, rhubarb, cinchona bark, and cardamom, creating a complex and distinctive flavor profile. The liqueur is characterized by a warm amber-golden color reminiscent of honey and saffron.

On the nose, fresh citrus and herbal aromas dominate, accompanied by notes of mint and Mediterranean herbs, while subtle spicy and balsamic nuances emerge in the background. On the palate, delicate sweet notes of citrus and saffron appear first, followed by herbal and balsamic tones that lead into an elegant and persistent bitterness.

Its texture is both light and velvety, making it more approachable than many traditional amaros. It can be enjoyed neat, chilled, or over ice, and is also well suited for cocktails thanks to its pronounced citrus and aromatic character.
