Natural Alkaline Mineral Water

4.3 ·

BabuLong Natural Alkaline Mineral Water is a still natural mineral water sourced from the Dashanbei area of Hengshan Township in Taiwan. The water is drawn from a deep artesian aquifer located beneath ancient volcanic basalt formations. During its long residence underground, it gradually passes through porous rock that naturally filters it and enriches it with minerals. According to testing conducted by the American laboratory Beta Analytic, its estimated age is approximately 4,500 years. The water is bottled near the source through a closed system that limits its contact with air. Its alkalinity is naturally occurring and is not produced through electrolysis or the addition of chemical substances. Its pH generally ranges from 8.5 to 9.5, while the producer identifies approximately 9.0 as its characteristic value. The total dissolved solids range from around 150 to 350 milligrams per liter, placing it in the low-to-medium mineral category. Its mineral composition includes bicarbonate, calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, and metasilicic acid. The metasilicic acid content is particularly notable, ranging from approximately 40 to 80 milligrams per liter. The water also contains small amounts of strontium, vanadium, germanium, molybdenum, and chromium derived naturally from the surrounding geological formations. Its moderate mineral content and alkaline composition contribute to a smooth texture, mild sweetness, and subtle mineral finish.
