Nilio Brewery

4.4 ·
Nilio Brewery is a Slovak craft brewery based in Liptovský Mikuláš, in the Liptov region of northern Slovakia. Founded in 2020, the brewery focuses primarily on the production of non-alcoholic craft beers created using an innovative fermentation method rather than the typical process of removing alcohol after brewing. By using a specific strain of yeast that converts sugars into glycerol instead of alcohol, Nilio is able to produce beers with full body, aroma, and complexity while keeping the alcohol content near zero. The brewery emphasizes natural ingredients and transparent production, and its beers are certified vegan. Nilio’s portfolio includes a range of modern craft styles such as alcohol-free IPA, stout, and fruit-inspired beers, often incorporating distinctive ingredients like Japanese yuzu or tropical fruits. Notable labels include Yuzu Samuray, Zero Power, Black Hero, Great Warrior, and Caribic IPA.
