Chalmar Beef Biltong is a South African beef biltong produced by the family-owned Chalmar Beef company on its farm in Bapsfontein, Gauteng.

It is made from beef sourced through the company’s vertically integrated system, encompassing pasture-rearing of calves, feedlot operations, slaughtering and meat processing. Selected cuts of beef are seasoned and gradually dried, developing the characteristic aroma and firm texture of traditional biltong.

Chalmar Beef Biltong has a concentrated beef flavour, a pronounced spicy aroma and a firm, pleasantly chewy texture. It is intended as a ready-to-eat, protein-rich snack and can be served with beer or wine, included on sharing platters or used as an ingredient in salads, sandwiches and savoury dishes.
