Crudo – Fruttato equilibrato is a premium extra virgin olive oil from Puglia, created through the careful selection of olives and their processing immediately after harvest. It is distinguished by lively, vegetal aromas with notes of artichoke, asparagus, and green pepper, enriched by a subtle almond nuance.
On the palate, it is full and elegant, with a perfectly balanced combination of bitterness and spiciness, making it a distinctive representative of the finest oils from Puglia. This oil is extremely versatile in gastronomy – it pairs perfectly with bruschetta, caprese, fish carpaccio, fresh salads, and pesto, while in warm dishes it enhances pasta, roasted vegetables, and meat in sauces. It is available in various formats, from elegant glass and ceramic bottles to practical tin containers, each delivering the same quality and richness of the Mediterranean terroir.
Producer
Crudo is a brand of extra virgin olive oil produced by Olearia Schiralli, a family-owned mill located in Bitetto, in the province of Bari, at the heart of Italy’s Puglia region. The Schiralli family has been dedicated to olive growing since 1922, and thanks to knowledge passed down through generations, they now combine traditional methods with modern olive processing technologies.
The name “Crudo,” which translates as “raw,” reflects their philosophy – preserving the most natural flavor and nutritional value of the oil. The company is particularly renowned for processing the Coratina variety, typical of the Apulia region, from which oils are obtained that are distinguished by their strong fruitiness, pronounced bitterness, and peppery notes. Their range includes different lines – from delicate blends to robust monovarietals, including organic oils.
Each of them reflects the richness of the local terroir and a harmony of Mediterranean herbs, green fruit, and fresh vegetable notes.
