EIRA Still Water by EIRA is a still natural mineral water originating from Eresfjord in western Norway. Its natural cycle begins at an altitude of more than 1,500 metres, after which the water filters through an approximately nine-metre-thick layer of moraine composed of gneiss, granite and quartz. Limited contact with soil and organic matter contributes to its exceptionally low mineral content. The water is bottled at source with minimal processing to preserve its natural characteristics. According to the producer’s analysis, it contains approximately 2 milligrams of sodium, 1.8 milligrams of chloride, 0.26 milligrams of magnesium and 0.08 milligrams of nitrate per litre. Calcium, potassium, fluoride, sulphate, carbonate and bicarbonate were not detected in measurable quantities. Its very low mineral content gives the water a mild and nearly neutral flavour, a smooth texture and a clean, refreshing finish.
