Ghostbird Brazil Rancho Grande is a single-origin specialty coffee from Três Pontas in the Sul de Minas region of Brazil, roasted by Ghostbird Coffee Company in Kuala Lumpur. It is produced from the Yellow Bourbon variety, a cultivar appreciated for its natural sweetness and balanced cup profile, grown at approximately 950 meters above sea level in an area known for its warm climate and rich volcanic soils.

The coffee cherries undergo a natural process, in which the fruit is dried around the seed before being removed. This method helps develop greater sweetness, body, and fruit character. Ghostbird applies a medium roast intended to preserve the coffee’s fruit notes while emphasizing its deeper chocolate and nutty qualities.

Brazil Rancho Grande has a smooth, comforting profile marked by red apple, dark chocolate, and an almond-like finish. Served black, it displays more distinct apple and cocoa notes, while the addition of milk creates a richer, more chocolate-forward cup with a lingering nutty finish. It is suitable for espresso and filter preparation, particularly the V60, making it an approachable choice for both everyday drinking and specialty coffee tasting.
