Vidiano from Idaia Winery is a dry white wine made from 100% Vidiano, an indigenous Cretan variety known for its balance between aromatic intensity and texture. The grapes are sourced from low-yield vineyards in the Venerato area, where dry conditions and careful vineyard management support concentration and clarity.

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, followed by a period of maturation in tank to preserve freshness while allowing the wine to gain structure. It shows a bright lemon color and a layered aromatic profile with notes of stone fruit, citrus, and subtle floral and honey nuances.

On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, with a slightly rounded texture balanced by lively acidity. A key feature is its combination of richness and precision, allowing the wine to remain both expressive and structured.

With some bottle aging, it can develop more complex fruit and light honeyed notes. The finish is clean and persistent, maintaining freshness.
