N.I.P Rare Dry Gin is the flagship expression of N.I.P Distilling and the first gin released by the Hong Kong distillery in 2019. Bottled at 43% ABV, it is distilled using a recipe of 21 botanicals that combines traditional gin ingredients with flavors inspired by Hong Kong's culinary and cultural heritage. Alongside classic botanicals such as juniper and coriander, the recipe incorporates fresh Asian pear, aged tangerine peel, osmanthus flowers, goji berries, ginger, and two varieties of Chinese tea, creating a distinctive balance of citrus, floral, herbal, and spicy notes. The gin was developed to capture the character of Hong Kong while remaining true to the classic structure of a dry gin. It offers a fragrant aroma followed by layers of bright citrus, delicate tea, warming spices, and a clean juniper-driven finish. Its balanced and versatile profile makes it suitable for serving with tonic or soda, while also providing a complex base for a wide range of classic and contemporary gin cocktails.
