Mafalde – Premiato Pastificio Afeltra | Pasta di Gragnano IGP
Since 1848, Premiato Pastificio Afeltra has preserved the authentic art of Italian pasta-making in Gragnano, near Naples, where tradition, craftsmanship, and exceptional quality come together.
Afeltra Mafalde are an elegant and distinctive pasta shape, inspired by the rich culinary heritage of Southern Italy. Traditionally named in honor of Princess Mafalda of Savoy, these long, ribbon-shaped strands feature beautifully ruffled edges that resemble delicate royal lace.

Crafted from 100% Italian durum wheat semolina and pure spring water from the Monti Lattari mountains, Afeltra Mafalde are bronze-drawn and slowly dried at controlled temperatures, developing a characteristic rough surface and an exceptional texture.

Their unique combination of flat ribbons and curled edges creates a delightful contrast in every bite, allowing sauces to cling beautifully to the pasta.

Perfect with traditional Neapolitan ragù, rich tomato sauces, seafood, mushrooms, and creamy Mediterranean preparations, Mafalde bring elegance and versatility to both traditional and contemporary cuisine.
Proudly certified Pasta di Gragnano IGP, Afeltra Mafalde embody nearly two centuries of passion, authenticity, and artisanal excellence.
Afeltra Mafalde: a royal expression of Italian pasta tradition, where timeless elegance meets the authentic taste of Gragnano.
