Bánh Tráng Safoco is a Vietnamese rice paper produced by Safoco for preparing fresh and fried spring rolls. It is made from tapioca starch, rice and iodized salt. According to the manufacturer, the product contains no food additives. Rice gives it a mild flavor and characteristic aroma while tapioca starch contributes elasticity and strength. The sheets are round and measure 22 centimeters in diameter. They are moderately thin and sufficiently flexible for wrapping different types of fillings. They can be used to prepare fresh rolls filled with vegetables, rice noodles, meat or seafood.
