Pure Amande is an organic marzipan-filled chocolate confection shaped like a butterfly, made by Danish chocolatier Summerbird. Created in 1986 as the brand’s first product, it became the foundation for the company’s subsequent development.

At its centre is marzipan made from stone-rolled Mediterranean almonds, coated in Amazonas dark chocolate with 61% cocoa. The recipe focuses on the simple combination of almonds and chocolate, highlighting the ingredients’ natural flavours. Each piece weighs 13 grams.

Pure Amande features moist marzipan, a pronounced almond flavour, and delicate floral notes, complemented by the fruity character of the dark chocolate. The chocolate coating provides a contrast to the soft filling. It can be enjoyed on its own as a small dessert or served alongside coffee.
