The Artisan Kitchen’s Negroni Summer Citrus Marmalade is a vibrant, cocktail-inspired preserve handmade in small batches in Gloucester, England.
A lively blend of Valencia orange, pink grapefruit, lemon and lime creates the citrus base, bringing sweetness, acidity, fragrance and natural bitterness in equal measure. Negroni-inspired flavours add herbal complexity, warmth and a distinctly Italian aperitivo character, giving the marmalade a sophisticated, grown-up finish.
The result is a bright, layered preserve with tender peel, fresh citrus intensity and a long bittersweet finish that balances fruitiness with gentle botanical depth.
Created by chef and preserve maker Sarah Churchill, founder of The Artisan Kitchen, it reflects a chef-led approach to traditional preserving, combining classic British marmalade-making techniques with the flavours of Italian aperitivo culture.
Delicious on hot buttered toast, croissants and brioche, it also pairs beautifully with mature cheeses, charcuterie and dark chocolate, and works particularly well in cakes, glazes, cocktails and desserts.
