Gạo Thơm RVT is an aromatic long-grain rice produced by the Vietnamese company Vinaseed. It is made from the RVT variety for which the company holds production rights and whose characteristics are preserved through regular selection and seed-stock renewal. It belongs to the indica type and has elongated, slender, and slightly translucent grains. The average uncooked grain length is approximately 6.8 millimeters. During cooking, the rice develops a delicate aroma reminiscent of jasmine flowers. The cooked grains are very soft, elastic, and moderately sticky. The flavor is naturally sweet without pronounced heavy grain notes. The grains retain their softness and stickiness after cooling. The rice is produced through a controlled chain covering seed selection, cultivation, harvesting, processing, and packaging. Cultivation areas are selected according to soil and water quality while production data are recorded in a digital system to ensure traceability. After harvesting, the rice is dried, milled, sorted, and packaged.
