Sukkari Dates are soft dates of the Sukkari variety offered by Zadna. This variety is traditionally cultivated in Saudi Arabia, particularly in Al-Qassim Province, where Zadna is headquartered. The fruits are medium-sized and range from golden yellow to light brown depending on their stage of ripeness. Their skin may be slightly wrinkled, while the flesh remains soft, moist, and somewhat sticky. The flavor is distinctly sweet with subtle notes of caramel and honey. Unlike dried dates, Sukkari rutab dates have a more delicate texture and a fresher character. The product consists of whole dates with pits, without fillings, chocolate coatings, or added flavorings. They can be eaten on their own or served with Saudi coffee and other beverages associated with regional hospitality.
